Since 2020, I’ve been offering Christmas photo sessions in Yorkshire, creating a space where families can celebrate the magic of the season and capture moments that feel timeless. What started as a small studio idea has grown into one of my favourite yearly traditions. Every November and December, families return to my studio, many of them year after year, bringing their children, their laughter, and their stories. These sessions have become more than just photographs - they are a beautiful part of how families mark each passing Christmas together.
Over the years, I’ve had the joy of meeting so many incredible people. New parents celebrating their baby’s first Christmas, families with teenagers who’ve grown up in front of my lens, and couples who simply want to capture the warmth of the holidays in a fine-art way. Watching these families return every season is what makes these sessions so meaningful to me.

My studio work combines elegance, creativity, and emotion. I like to start each session with classic family portraits, the kind that grandparents love and that will never go out of style. Once we’ve captured those timeless shots, I let the energy shift. Parents begin to play with their children, laugh, and enjoy the moment. I step back and capture the genuine expressions that unfold naturally. My goal is to create fun, dynamic, and creative portraits that reflect your family’s unique personality.
Some of my favourite moments are when children are playing around the Christmas tree while parents sit nearby, enjoying a warm drink and admiring their little ones. These candid, storytelling moments often become the most treasured images from the session.

Every year, our Calini Weddings Studio is completely transformed for the festive season. Expect to see elegant Christmas trees dressed in gold, blush, and soft white tones; glowing fairy lights that wrap the space in warmth; and textures that make everything feel cosy and inviting. Each setup is carefully designed to complement my editing style - soft light, rich tones, and attention to every detail.
